TDI Cavern Diver Course
After completing this course, the diver has minimum knowledge and skills, necessary for safe diving in Caverns - space with overhead environment, lit by natural light. You will also learn proper planning, procedures, techniques and risks when diving in caves.

In this course we’ll take a look at specific difficulties of this type of diving, learn the equipment configuration and diving techniques, types of overhead environment, emergency situations analysis, the principles of redundancy and double safety. Particularly we will stress the importance of establishing and maintaining neutral buoyancy, stroke techniques and moving in the overhead environment. We’ll practice special moving techniques, the surface drills, communication skills and the ability to handle any emergency situation, such as the partner air depletion, partial and complete turbidity, methodical moving along the cable to the exit.
What will I get from all this?
Upon successful completion of the course, graduates receive a certification card TDI - Cavern Diver and can start diving in caves that do not require decompression, with the visible emergency area, no more than 130 feet deep, with minimal visibility - 40 feet, as well as the opportunity to take the next course - Introductory Cave Diver TDI.
