Discover Scuba Diving in Underwater Museum of Cancun

If you aren’t ready to do the certification course, discover scuba diving is for you!

It is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

Student prerequisites:

• Minimum age 10

Course content:

• Basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive
• Scuba equipment
• Key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive
• Practice in the swimming pool
• 2 dives

These half-day dives are ideal for beginners and those with little diving experience. They take place at the Underwater Museum (MUSA) which has more than 500 different sculptures at a depth of 8-10 meters where you can dive without a certificate.

The main idea was to divert divers from the Cancun reef. The sculptures in the Cancun Underwater Museum have filled with animals and have begun to attract tourists and divers from all over the world. The MUSA underwater museum in Cancun is unique. You will see how many species of fish and corals have begun to make the museum their permanent home, fulfilling the goal of the environmental improvement project.

You will have an introductory course on the basics of diving and equipment knowledge. You will dive in the pool to try out equipment, learn how to breathe with the regulator and equalize pressure.

2 dives:

• One in the famous museum
• Second on in the wonderful coral reef of Mayan Riviera

After these 2 dives, if you wish, you can start the Open Water Diver course PADI very well because we will consider this dive as the beginning of the course. Open Water Diver is the first level of certification. This worldwide certificate allows you to dive up to 18 meters.
