Overview

The desire for underwater adventure in caves, caverns, and cenotes has settled in you?

Mexico has the most concentrated submerged cave system in the world. The Yucatan Peninsula is a gigantic karst plateau with the two longest underground systems in the world (Ox Bel Ha and Sac Actun). It is an ideal place to follow this course because the region offers cave dives of all types and levels with different passages and depths.

This is the last level of cave diving training after attending CAVE SIDEMOUNT DIVER TDI, CAVERN DIVER TDI and INTRO TO CAVE DIVER TDI courses. This course will allow you to dive in caves at unlimited distances and depths. You will be able to plan explorations in complex cave networks.

Advanced cave dive planning, the practical execution of different types of cave systems and scenarios divers encounter are presented. The objective of this course is to expand and critique previous skills accomplished in the previous programs. Emphasis is placed upon dive planning and skill perfection through actual cave penetration.

Student prerequisites:

• Minimum age 18
• Minimum certification Intro to Cave Diver TDI or equivalent
• TDI decompression procedures certified if decompression dives are to be conducted in training

Duration:

• 6 theory classes and briefing hours
• No less than 4 days 8 dives 240 minutes bottom time
