Divemaster

Overview

Do you like scuba diving? Do you want to share it with others? You will be able to make your passion a professional career with this course.

With this course, you will do what you love to do as a career. As a divemaster, you not only get to dive a lot but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun diving as you do.

The divemaster is a leader and takes charge of dive activities. Through knowledge development sessions, water skills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessment, you develop the skills to organize and direct a variety of scuba diving activities.

Prerequisites:

• Minimum age is 18 years old
• Rescue Diver PADI certification or equivalent
• 40 dives

Course content:

• Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers
• Diver safety and risk management
• The business of diving and your career Dive setup, briefing and dive management
• Organizing a search and recovery project and a deep dive
• Conducting PADI ReActivate and skin diver course
• Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving and leading Discover Local Diving programs

The cost of this course will depend on the number of days spent.
